Green as the Grass Super Ice Lollies

green lollies

Its not even 8.30am on a Sunday morning. I just went to go and get these beautiful ice lollies from the freezer to take a picture for this blog post – and well now there is only one ice lolly left – they are THAT good! The children are clearly not going to get a look in on these ones.

Without blowing my own trumpet, as Dad used to say,  they are just incredible. Tangy, juicy, fruity and SO good for you.

I have already posted other super food ice lolly recipes so do go and visit that page and try the other flavours but this one is a bit special and is my absolute favourite. Here is the link for these amazing ice lolly moulds again – they really are great. #affiliate

These ice lollies are absolutely full of vitamins. Kiwi is really high in Vitamin C, more so than oranges and also Vitamin E, great for beautiful skin. I’ve blended rather than juiced the kiwi’s to keep the pips in the mix, which is where many of the nutrients can be found.

Spinach is packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and is particularly rich in iron, essential for red blood cell production, and Vitamin K, for building healthy bones.

I’ve also sneaked in some greens powder which I’m quite excited about – I find it can be quite an unpleasant taste but in this recipe you can’t taste it at all and its such a good way to get extra greens into all of us, especially the children.

This Naturya blend  is a mixture of spirulina, wheatgrass, chlorella, barley grass and hemp protein. Just think how much your body will enjoy that! #affiliate
